Board of Directors
A board consisting of 24 elected directors oversees the working of the Symphony Orchestra Guild of Decatur. The Board meets all year long usually monthly, sometimes skipping January and July.
An Executive Committee consists of the board’s elected officers and the Conductor of the MDSO. The immediate Past President serves in an advisory capacity and meets with the Executive Committee.
Committee Chairmen or the Standing Committee oversee the work of their various areas and report to their respective Vice President. It is a working Board!
