The Millikin Decatur Symphony Orchestra concert that originally took place on March 5 is now set to air on WILL-FM’s “Prairie Performances” on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 7:00 pm.
Air dates for the April 16 concert will be forthcoming.

with Sergey Bogza, Guest Conductor
Dr. Bogza has since this concert been named the new conductor for the Millikin-Decatur Symphony, replacing Dr. Luxner as he retires at the end of the current school year.
The Concert also features Millikin Student, Jared Rixstine, piano and Amy Mazzeo, soprano as they were two of the winners in this years “Young Artist” competition on campus.

Handel: “Let the Bright Seraphim” from “Samson”- Amy Mazzeo, soprano, with Phillip Tsigolaroff, trumpet
Rossini: “Una voce poco fa” from the “Barber of Seville”, Amy Mazzeo, soprano
Tchaikovsky: Symphony No 4 in F Minor, Op 36- under the direction of Dr. Bogza
